Van Lanschot Participaties to continue as Bolster Investment Partners
Van Lanschot Participaties will continue under the name Bolster Investment Partners with effect from today. In late 2017 the team of nine was spun off from Van Lanschot Kempen to become an independent investment firm. Bolster’s ambition is to invest in two to three Dutch companies a year and it has raised investment capital of € 135 million in recent months to fulfill this ambition. Van Lanschot Kempen is a cornerstone investor in the new fund through a substantial minority interest, alongside a select group of current and former entrepreneurs.

The four most recent investments by Van Lanschot Participaties have been transferred to the new fund to give it a flying start. Bolster Investment Partners also remains responsible for the existing portfolio of Van Lanschot Participaties.
Bolster invests in companies with an operating profit of € 3 million or more. Between € 5 and 20 million is invested in each company for an equity stake of no less than 20%. Bolster has a broad sector focus, with an emphasis on manufacturing, services and trading. Since 1982 it has collaborated successfully with over 100 companies.
