SelektHuis aquires Bouwbedrijf B. Desaunois
SelektHuis, a Bolster Investment Partners portfolio company since 2022, acquired house builder Bouwbedrijf B. Desaunois at the end of October. Just as SelektHuis, Desaunois is active in building detached and semi-detached houses on private plots. The acquisition of Desaunois is an excellent fit within SelektHuis’s strategy of strengthening its market position in the Province of North Holland as a key step towards national coverage. By joining forces, Desaunois and SelektHuis will be able to make a significant contribution to meeting the housing challenge over the coming years by building high quality sustainable homes according to the client’s wishes.
Bouwbedrijf B. Desaunois, based in Zwaagdijk-Oost, builds around 80 detached and semi-detached houses per year, based on inspirational models that are customized according to the client’s wishes. In recent years, led by Bart Desaunois, the company has grown to become the leading player in this area of house-building in North Holland. With its culture, focus and construction process, Desaunois is an excellent fit within SelektHuis’s strategy. Collaboration between the two will create a top player in the market niche of detached houses on private plots in the Netherlands.
