Fleur Kloosterman
Fleur obtained her bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and continued her studies with a master’s in Econometrics and Management Science at Erasmus University Rotterdam, specializing in Operations Research & Logistics. During her studies, she developed a keen interest in the intersection of technology, finance and strategy.
Alongside her academic pursuits, Fleur gained valuable experience at various organizations. She was actively involved with SensUs, a student team at Eindhoven University of Technology focused on the biomedical industry, where she built relationships with tech companies, startups, and investors. Later, she worked as an analyst in the Risk Advisory division at Zanders Consultancy, gaining insights into risk management for credit providers and their operations within the broader financial market. Her thesis research at APG Asset Management explored the relationship between return, risk, and ESG factors in investment strategies.
Having grown up in an environment surrounded by family businesses and entrepreneurs, Fleur understands the dynamics and challenges of entrepreneurship. Hard work, recognizing opportunities, and strategic thinking are ingrained in her DNA. This entrepreneurial mindset and her passion for value creation led her to join Bolster at the end of 2024, starting as an intern in the investment team. Following her internship, she transitioned into the role of Associate. At Bolster, Fleur focuses on value creation within investments and identifying new partnership opportunities.
“At Bolster, everything comes together: working with entrepreneurs, thinking strategically about growth, and the dynamic world of private equity. What drives me is collaborating with entrepreneurs to identify opportunities and strengthen businesses for the long term.”
